Liked: Brilliant site. Peaceful. Immaculate facilities. The locally inspired food in the restaurant was lovely. Swimming pool idyllic. Cycled(electric) through the lovely area. Great welcome and staff very helpful. …
Beautiful rural site with excellent facilities and a lovely pool and restaurant serving regional food. Large level pitches with electric and water.
We did need to get an adapter for the 2 pin sockets.
Definitely recommend and we would go again.
Close to Bragança with some great walks.. See photo.
Of the 40+ campsites I've been too in Portugal this is undoubtedly my favourite. Pitches in indigenous woodland, sunset views across the valley that invite you to pause for a while, and immaculate facilities with hot water and the sweet sounds of fado while you shower. Even at 11pm.
Great campsite, we spent 4 nights but could easily have spent more. The sanitary block was extremely well maintained and modern. A very large pool for a campsite with grass area surrounding it .
The pitches are large a give a lot of privacy as the are staggered in different parts of the campsite.
Only a 10 minute drive to Bragança and large supermarket.
Would definitely recommend this site.
Lovely spot up in the National Park Montesinho. If traveling with a caravan may find a 4x4 good if getting up to some of the pitches. Electric points are few and far between and may need extension cables to reach. Interesting pitches at various levels. English spoken and very friendly.
Liked: Very clean.
Friendly staff. Ordered Langoustines, chicken wings and potatoes bravas from the bar and ate overlooking the embalmed as the sun was setting. All excellent
Beautiful, tranquil campsite with the most stunning pool. We stayed longer than planned as it was so relaxing. The pitches were big with lots of shade options and loved how were were shown around on the buggy when checking in! Sometimes the toilet roll ran out and the hot water could be intermittent but nothing to worry about and we loved the music in there! The bar staff were really attentive and welcoming and the restaurant food was delicious with a lovely view too.
One minor thing, we had a couple of abrupt comments from the two managers which upset me (& I heard the same from another family too). Aside from that, it was a magical stay and we would go again and highly recommend it.
Liked: The campsite lies within an enchanted forest with lichen covered oaks. The restirant serves traditional portugese food and do large servings. The pool has crystal clear water. Very clean toilets with constant classical music. Fun baseball court.
